Welcome to Petal Portraits

I've added two new web galleries of my new work this month.  I have been working on these pieces for about  6 months now. I call them PhoTao's. 

After much contemplation, I began working on a series to visually represent the concept of impermanence and arrived at the idea of creating the work from something that essentially does not exist for more than a few moments and yet gives “the illusion of permanence.”

Other Events 
As an ongoing part of Inner Ventures, I am involved in hosting silence retreats several times a year. We are in the process of working on the Spring, 2008 retreat which will most likely be in the Spokane area.   Please check out our other website (Inner Ventures) for the details about silence retreats and other ongoing events.
